Hyper-Reality consists in a short film of approximately 6 minutes in which Keiichi Matsuda explores a dimension resulting from the merger of corporeal and virtual reality. The London “future-designer” focuses a large part of his work, within the most diverse projects, on this extremely powerful digital dynamic, without forgetting small satyr details that serve as proof of how our society is shaped. Matsuda tries to include all these particularities in order to achieve a greater futuristic precision and this way allows the virtual to dissolve in our daily lives.
In the short film, we can see the points system as an individual evaluation, as well as the amount of simultaneous stimuli that fill our field of vision, whether as advertisement or alerts, leading to an understandable exhaustion.
